| (American, 20th C. ) |
Pamela Dennis Hall began her formal art education in high school with weekend classes at the Cleveland Institute of Art. She completed a Bachelor of Science in Art Education at Ohio State University. Her interest in portraiture began in college when she studied figure drawing with Sidney Chafitz.
Heretofore known to a select group of private collectors, Hall’s paintings are traditional depictions of our favorite pets, but with a slightly modern perspective. Each is posed at home, with natural lighting, creating a luminescent, ethereal quality which captures the individual character of her sitters.
Hall currently resides in Fredericksburg, Texas where she has a close bond with her own pets that include two horses, nine Boer goats and, of course, her canine family. Four dogs: Annie a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Sunni a pug, Sister a German Shepard and Suzy a Cardigan Welsh Corgi.
